Our rendering roots
Our rendering technology is derived from Asciicker, created by gumix / msokalski. Thank you for making this extraordinary ASCII renderer available under the MIT license.
Asciilands contains changes to the original engine and project materials. It is not an official Asciicker release and is not affiliated with or endorsed by its authors.
Art, fonts & software
- Nature models: Quaternius, Ultimate Nature Pack (CC0).
- Footsteps (including water): original Asciicker audio, used under its MIT license. Shoreline waves: Gentle lake recording by TRP, CC0. Asciilands chest effects, wind and birds: original procedural synthesis.
- Inherited Asciicker artwork and glyph fonts: gumix / msokalski. Asciilands also includes custom generated character, equipment and world artwork.
- Roboto Medium: Google (Apache 2.0). Cinzel, Press Start 2P, VT323 and Inter: their respective authors (SIL Open Font License).
- React, React DOM, Scheduler and Lucide / Feather icons.
